GCC condemns attack on aid convoy in Syria's Aleppo

RIYADH, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- The GCC sharply deplored on Wednesday a recent aerial attack on a humanitarian aid convoy in Aleppo, leaving a number of innocent civilians dead or wounded.
GCC Secretary-General Abdul-Latif Al-Zayani said in a statement that this attack is an immoral and shameful act that contravenes all international charters and laws and violates all relevant UNSC resolutions.
He called on the UNSC to take decisive action against such nonstop violations by the Syrian regime and to move to have the current siege on Aleppo lifted. (end) yms.mt
