KUWAIT, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Australia Najib Abdurahman Al-Bader discussed with Australian Governor retired General David Hurley means of promoting bilateral economic ties.
A press statement on Monday said that Al-Bader touched on the excellent bilateral ties and discussed means of taking them to the next level.
"Australia is committed to securing the safety and stability of the Gulf region through deploying its army to be part of the Global Coalition against International Terrorism," he pointed out in the statement.
The statement added that the Kuwaiti envoy made an official tour through Sydney and met with a number of Australian officials where they discussed boosting cultural, educational and investment cooperation.
In addition, Al-Bader met with Kuwaiti students and inquired after their educational progress; there are around 1,000 Kuwaiti students in Australia.
