Speaker Al-Ghanim sends cable of condolences to Somali counterpart

KUWAIT, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim sent a cable of condolences Wednesday to his Somali counterpart Mohammad Sheikh Othman Jawari, conveying his deepest sympathies over the loss of life in a car bomb attack in Mogadishu.
In his cable, Al-Ghanim prayed for "peace and comfort for the souls of the deceased and a speedy recovery for the wounded." Moreover, he also underscored Kuwait's staunch opposition to all terrorist acts that threaten Somalia's security and stability. (end) jy.nam
