No new vote on Brexit -- PM May

LONDON, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- UK Prime Minister Theresa May affirmed on Wednesday that her government would not hold a second public referendum on withdrawing from the European Union.
Speaking at a cabinet meeting, premier May said the people's voting in favor of getting out of the EU in June's referendum meant withdrawal from the union and there would be no new bids to return from the "back door." May indicated that a series of steps had already been taken to adjust the UK status and its international role in shadow of the withdrawal. (end) kd.rk
