Cabinet commiserates over Italy quake, condemns attack in Kabul

KUWAIT, Aug 29 (KUNA) -- The Cabinet, in its weekly session on Monday, commiserated over a deadly earthquake in Italy, while it condemned an attack on the American University in the Afghan capital Kabul.
The Cabinet conveyed its deepest sympathies and condolences for the people of Italy over the quake that killed scores of people and injured numerous others, as it wished swift recovery for those wounded in the quake.
Moreover, the Cabinet denounced the attack on the American University in Kabul that resulted in many fatalities and injuries. It also deplored the attack, describing it as a terrorist act that contravenes all religious and humanitarian values, as it urged the international community to ramp up efforts to exterminate the scourge of terrorism.
