Yemeni-fired rocket kills civilian in Najran - spokesman

RIYADH, Aug 23 (KUNA) -- A Yemeni civilian was killed and another wounded Tuesday by a rocket that was fired from Yemeni territories towards Najran, southwestern Saudi Arabia, official media reported.
Saudi civil defense teams were notified about the incident, which resulted in the death of a Yemeni resident of Najran and wounding another, Col. Ali bin Omair Al-Shahrani, Spokesman of the Directorate of Civil Defense in Najran, stated, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The wounded was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment, added Al-Shahrani. (end) od.ma
