Turkish Pres. receives Iraq's Kurdistan region chief

ISTANBUL, Aug 23 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received on Tuesday President of Iraq's Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani.
The two sides held a closed-door meeting that lasted about two hours in Ankara, said a presidential statement.
The visit comes a day before US Vice President Joe Biden's visit to Turkey.
Barzani arrived earlier today in Ankara on an official visit during which he will meet some officials.
Turkey announced earlier it would provide all support for the liberation of the Syrian border town of Jarabulus from IS grip. (end) ta.hm
