AMMAN, Aug 23 (KUNA) -- Promoting bilateral economic relations was the focus of a meeting held on Tuesday between Jordan's Prime Minister Hani Al-Mulki and the advisor to Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Ahmad Al-Khateeb.
Jordan and Saudi Arabia have deep-rooted historic and brotherly relations supported by the two political leaders, Jordan's news agency (Petra) quoted the Premier as saying.
During the meeting, the two sides dealt with strategic aspects of investment and economic cooperation discussed previously by Jordanian and Saudi officials, the agency reported.
Amman and Riyadh had agreed, during meetings held previously, to bolster cooperation in the area of energy and uranium exploration.
They also okayed to increase trade exchange and create further opportunities for Jordan's exports to the Saudi markets. (end) mgb.hm
