The Saudi-led coalition planes raided Saturday the Houthis gatherings at the border strip, and killed tens and destroyed several military vehicles, the Command of the Coalition to Support the Legitimacy in Yemen said in a statement aired by the Saudi Press Agency.
It clarified that the Saudi armed forces stationed at the Saudi Yemeni border have confronted infiltration sporadic attempts by the Houthi militias and the deposed president Ali Saleh on Saturday morning in a flagrant violation of the agreed truce between the two sides.
As a result, the aggressors have sustained humans and military equipment losses following their infiltration attempts in Al-Raboo'a region in Najran sector, the statement by the Command Coalition added.
It, however, admitted that seven Saudi servicemen, including an officer, were martyred in the ensuing battle.
It concluded that the Saudi air and land forces continued chasing the remnants of the infiltrators and purifying the border region from any remains. (end) od.ibi
