Kuwait Red Crescent delivers further aid to Syrians

BEIRUT, July 30 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society on Saturday declared delivering relief aid to 250 Syrian refugee families in the town of Ameeq southeast of the capital.
The chief of the field team, Mahdi Al-Hesar, said the delivered items included food and detergents, sufficient for a month for a five-member family, adding that candies and gifts for children were given to these families too.
He conveyed expressions of gratitude from the refugees to the State of Kuwait, His Highness the Amir and people for their generous giving.
The Kuwaiti society has been aiding the Syrian refugees in Lebanon and other regional countries since flare-up of the Syrian crisis. (end) mhh.rk
