Explosion north of Baghdad kills 10 people

BAGHDAD, July 25 (KUNA) -- Ten people were killed and 35 others were injured when a booby-trapped car exploded in Diyala district north of the capital, said a police source Monday.
The source told KUNA that a suicide bomber blew up his car at the entrance of AL-Khalis city north of Diyala district.
Baghdad and other Iraqi cities have been witnessing many attacks carried out by the so-called Islamic State (IS) militants. (end) ahh.mar
