His Highness Amir condoles with Saudi King over victims of Ataturk Airport blast

KUWAIT, June 29 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences Wednesday to Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud over the death of Saudi citizens in recent blasts in Turkey.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed condolences and deep sorrow over the death of several Saudi nationals in the suicide explosions that took place at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul on Tuesday.
His Highness the Amir prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, place them in his heavens, and grant patience and solace to their families, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
His Highness the Amir also reiterated Kuwait's strong condemnation and rejection of the heinous terrorist action that targeted the lives of innocents and was inconsistent with all religious principles and laws.
His Highness also reiterated Kuwait's firm stand against all forms and manifestations of terrorism, as well as its stand by the international community in combatting terrorism and drying out its sources, praying to Allah Almighty to protect the Kingdom and its people from all harms and dangers.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to the Saudi King. (end) ma
