KUWAIT, June 29 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Foreign Ministry has condemned in strong terms the terrorist explosions that targeted the Turkish Ataturk Airport leaving scores of dead or wounded among the innocent.
A ministry official source said in a statement that this blatant crime, committed in the last ten days of the holy month Ramadan, affirms that terrorism belongs to no religion and aims to undermine of the whole mankind.
The State of Kuwait stands on side of friendly Turkey with respect of the measures it takes to safeguard its security and stability, the official source said, emphasizing the country's unwavering and principled stance that renounces terrorism and supports international efforts designed to uproot it.
He expressed deep condolences to families of the victims, the government and people of friendly Turkey, wishing the injured quick recovery. (end) rk
