Arab Group asks discussion of Israel's nuclear file at IAEA's conf.

VIENNA, June 28 (KUNA) -- The International Atomic Energy Agency said Tuesday it received a request from the Arab Group to include Israel's nuclear capabilities in the agenda of IAEA's annual conference, due late September.
The Arab Group's request includes the reasons that made the group submit its demand, a well-informed sources at the IAEA, who asked not to be named, told KUNA.
He did not say what were the reasons or whether he read the request or not.
The Arab Group sumbit this request every year, calling for placing the Israel's nuclear capabilities under IAEA's guarantees regime. The Arab group has also been calling on Israel to join the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Israel claims it is still in a state of war with the Arab countries and awaiting for peace in order to consider the NPT. (end) amg.bs
