Arab League denounces Lebanon blasts

CAIRO, June 27 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil Al-Araby condemned the suicide bomb attacks in the Lebanese border town of Al-Qaa on Monday, which claimed scores of lives and injured more than a dozen others.
In a statement, Al-Araby said he is confident in the Lebanese government's ability to repel all terrorist threats that aim to destabilize the country.
The Secretary General of the Arab League also conveyed his condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims as well as the people of Lebanon. (end) asm.nam
