US dollar trades at KD 0.301

KUWAIT, June 26 (KUNA) -- The US dollar climbed against the Kuwaiti dinar reaching (KD) 0.301 on Sunday, but the euro dropped to KD 0.334, as compared to Thursday's trades.
The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) said in its daily bulletin that the Sterling Pound fell to KD 0.413, and the Swiss Franc went down to KD 0.309, while the Japanese yen was unchanged at KD 0.002.
The rise of the US dollar against other major currencies on Friday came after the final results of the UK vote to exit the European Union, leading the Sterling exchange rate to fall sharply against all currencies.
The Sterling recorded a decline of 6.46 percent against the US dollar, its lowest rate in 31 years. (end) mam.ha
