CAPITALS, June 5 (KUNA) -- The moonsighting authorities in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Algeria, Sudan and Palestine announced that Sunday is the last day of Shaaban, the Arabic lunar calendar, and thereby, Monday will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
