15th OIC trade exhibition concludes in Riyadh

RIYADH, May 29 (KUNA) -- The 15th trade exhibition of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states concluded in Riyadh Sunday.
The exhibition, which attracted a huge turnout, was largely seen as the most successful of its kind in the past 30 years, Advisor to the Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment Turki Al-Tuaimi said in a press statement.
He announced that the Saudi pavilion has been named as the best in the event which was held under the patronage of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz during the period from May 22 to May 29.
The eight-day event have brought together investors, businesspeople and industry leaders from over 30 OIC countries including Kuwait which was represented by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The exhibition served as a platform for familiarizing and presenting Muslim countries products and services; increasing the pan-OIC trade exchange; shedding lights on the available investment opportunities and opening new market for the different OIC states' industries and products. (end) od.ibi
