Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al-Kheder meets with his Sudanese counterpart Moustafa Awadhi Hassan
KUWAIT, May 29 (KUNA) -- Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Khaled Al-Kheder discussed on Sunday, during two separate, meetings military issues of mutual interest with two delegations of Italy and Sudan.
Al-Kheder received his Sudanese counterpart Moustafa Awadhi Hassan and an accompanying delegation to deal with key topics and issues of common concern, Defense Ministry's Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations said in a press statement.
During the meeting, Al-Kheder lauded the depth of relations between Sudan and Kuwait, and their keenness on enhancing and developing them, it added.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt. Gen. Abdullah Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah and some senior military officials.
According to the statement, Al-Kheder also received Italy's Chief of Staff of the Air Force Enzo Vecciarelli and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides focused on some topics of mutual interest and means of fostering them, it noted.
A number of Kuwaiti officials, including Army's Deputy Chief of Staff for planning Major General Ahmad Abdulwahab AlآOmairi, were present in the meeting. (end)
