CAIRO, May 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Higher Education Dr. Bader Al-Essa conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Kuwaitis who have just graduated from Egyptian universities.
Al-Essa, also Minister of Education, said Saturday he was happy to be with the Kuwaiti male and female students to celebrate their graduation.
A ceremony to honor the fresh graduates for the year 2015-16 was held by Kuwait Cultural Office, which was also celebrating the 70th anniversary of its establishment.
Al-Essa saluted the fresh graduates who left their country for the sake of knowledge.
"You were the best ambassadors of your country in your second country, Egypt, from which we learned science and knowledge for decades," he said.
Al-Essa told the fresh graudates that it was high time for them to serve their country to contribute to its development.
He said the Ministry of Higher Education would issue a law that would provide financial support for the excellent students.
Kuwait charge d'Affaires to Kuwait Abdulaziz Al-Bisher told the graduates that it was their time now to contribute to the building of Kuwait in all sectors.
"We are celebrating today and see the future of our beloved country, Kuwait, lying between your hands," he said.
Al-Bisher thanked Kuwait Cultural Office for relentless support of the students, as well as the Egyptian universities and the Egyptian people for hosting the Kuwaiti people.
Dr. Furaih Al-Enezi, director of the cultural office, pointed out to the services provided to the students like registration and hotel booking.
He said the cultural office was also providing supporting documents for the post-graduate students. (end) ms.aff.bs
