TUNIS, May 27 (KUNA) -- Meeting on Friday with Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid, Kuwait's visiting Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Planning and Development Affairs Hend Al-Sabeeh discussed with her host labor and economic development issues.
Following her talks with Essid, she noted in a press statement that the prime minister urged implementation of already concluded MoUs on issues of joint interest such as curbing growing unemployment and intensifying sustainable development, to name a few.
The two officials also tackled the notion of Kuwait providing job opportunities to Tunisian job-seekers in a bid to reduce the burden of unemployment, especially among the youth, in Tunisia, said Al-Sabeeh.
The Kuwaiti minister ended today an official two-day visit to Tunisia, in the course of which she signed a number of MoUs and made field trips to elderly care centers and rehabilitation centers for people with special needs. (end) khs.ajs
