Yemeni President Abd-Rabbuh Mansour Hadi meets with GCC Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani
RIYADH, May 5 (KUNA) -- Yemeni President Abd-Rabbuh Mansour Hadi expressed on Thursday his appreciation and gratitude to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his personal interest in providing all the ingredients needed for the success of Yemeni negotiations in Kuwait.
He made his sentiments known in a press statement relayed by the GCC General Secretariat as he met with the GCC Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani in Riyadh today. President Hadi stressed in his meeting with Al-Zayani the Yemeni government's sincere intentions for a cessation of bloodshed and the instilling of peace in his country.
He touted GCC efforts in trying to bring peace to Yemen through abidance by the Gulf initiative, the UN resolution no.2216, and the consequences of the negotiations in Kuwait. (end)
