DHAKA, May 5 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and the accompanying delegation left Dhaka Thursday, heading to Hanoi, Vietnam, concluding a three-day official visit to Bangladesh.
Before leaving Dhaka, His Highness received at his residence the leader of the opposition in the Parliament of Bangladesh, Rowshan Ershad.
During the reception, the two sides tackled bilateral ties and issues of common concern.
His Highness the Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation arrived in Dhaka last Tuesday on an official visit to Bangladesh, which is the first leg of an Asian tour that will also take him to Vietnam, Republic of Korea and Japan.
During the visit, His Highness met the President of Bangladesh Mohammed Abdul Hamid, and held official talks on exchanging points of view on various topics, including issues of mutual concern. Bilateral agreements to boost joint cooperation in various fields between the two countries were also signed during the visit. (end) haq
