US man accused of Jewish ctre bomb plot to face trial

WASHINGTON, May 2 (KUNA) -- A man, who was arrested by US authorities after allegedly planning to attack a Jewish centre in southern Florida, will face trial on Monday, US media said.
James Medina, 40, is scheduled to make his initial court appearance after being arrested on Friday, the FBI was quoted by US media as saying on Monday.
The intended target was Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, which includes a synagogue, school and meeting halls, said The Washington Post.
Miami US attorney office spokesperson Sarah Schall described the arrest as "national security-related," the report added. (end) sd.ibi
