S. Korean Pres. arrives in Tehran

TEHRAN, May 1 (KUNA) -- South Korean President Park Geun-hye has arrived on Sunday, leading a large business delegation, for talks with Iranian leaders.
This three-day official visit is historic since it is the first by a South Korean leader to the Islamic country.
She was welcomed at Mehrabad International Airport by Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh, according to IRNA.
Her delegation is made up of 236 officials and heads of biggest Korean companies as well as major industrialists.
While in Tehran, President Park is scheduled to meet President Hassan Rouhani and discuss the bilateral ties in various fields as well as regional and international issues. (end) fz.gb
