RIYADH, April 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has participated in the 12th exhibition of Heads of GCC red cresecent societies which is organized by the Saudi Red Crescent.
KRCS' Director General Abdulrahman Al-Oun said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Friday on the opening of the joint media center that the exhibition is organized for the first time, expressing deep thanks to those in charge of the exhibition in the Saudi Red Crescent.
He stressed the importance of the exhibition, which is held on the sidelines of the meeting as a humanly and social event that brings together all GCC red crescent societies and other humanitarian organizations to highlight their humanitarian role.
He said KRCS always seeks to deploy volunteer work through activities and exhibitions, pointing out that a number of officials participating in the meeting visited the Kuwaiti pavilion and praised the efforts of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in the dissemination of the cuture of voluntary and humanitarian work.(end).
