BAGHDAD, April 17 (KUNA) -- Iraqi defense ministry received three Russian Sukhoi fighter jets and military equipment on Sunday, spokesman Nasseer Nouri said.
Three Su-25 jets arrived in Iraq today in addition to tons of military equipment, Nouri said in a statement but did not elaborate on the types of equipment.
The warplanes and equipment, he added, were part of Iraq's quest to boost the fighting capabilities of the army. (end)
