MANAMA, April 6 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has called for necessary coordination among Arab countries to face challenges.
He made the statement while receiving Arab ministers of finance and economy, and governors of Arab central banks, directors general of Arab financial institutions on Wednesday.
He urged all Arabs to discard differences so as to overcome current conditions facing the Arab countries, calling for holding meetings to set unified visions which promote Arab economic cooperation.
This cooperation will help Arab countries face all challenges and make strides towards development, he stressed.
There is a relation between policy and economy; strong economy creates strong policy, he said, adding that some hope that obstacles in the Arab countries would threaten their stability, security and economy.
He underlined the significance of holding meetings of Arab financial bodies to discuss the situation of development march and means of facing challenges.
This came on the sidelines of the meeting of ministers of finance and Economy, governors of Arab central banks and directors general of Arab financial institutions. (end) mgg.hm
