Saudi CP: Islamic states should establish strategies to combat terrorism

RIYADH, March 27 (KUNA) -- Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and Second Deputy Premier and Minister of defense Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz stressed the importance of establishing strategic efforts to combat terrorism among Islamic countries.
This remark was made by the Saudi Crown Prince as the Chiefs of Staff of the Islamic Military Alliance to Fight Terrorism (IMAFT) held their first meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Advisor to Saudi Arabian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmed Asseri told the press, after the meeting, that IMAFT is working to fight terrorism in accordance to international laws, stressing that the fight against terrorism does not target the so-called Islamic state (IS) only but also terrorism in all its manifesations in general.
He added that Saudi Arabia has made huge strides in combating terrorism and today's meeting "emphasized" IMAFT's objectives to eliminate terrorism through collaborating efforts and exchanging security information among state members. (pick up previous) yms.nfm
