First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah with the Somalian Foreign Minister Dr.Abdulsalam Hadliye Omar
KUWAIT, March 13 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah reiterated Kuwait's support to the Somali Government's efforts in combating and eliminating terrorism.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled made this remark during a meeting with Somalia's visiting Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr.Abdulsalam Hadliye Omar at the Foreign Ministry's Headquarters, on Sunday.
On his part, the Somali minister expressed his appreciation to the Kuwaiti Government and people for their continuous support to his country that has undergone various hardships. He also thanked the Gulf country for hosting a donors' conference for supporting education in Somalia.
The meeting between the two minister tackled bilateral ties and promotion of cooperation in various fields. They also touched on the latest regional and international developments. (end)
