First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah with the United Nations special envoy to the Sahel region Hiroute Gebre Selassie
KUWAIT, Feb 18 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met Thursday with the United Nations special envoy to the Sahel region Hiroute Gebre Selassie.
The two sides reviewed during the meeting overall security, political and humanitarian challenges facing the Sahel region of Africa.
The meeting was attended by first deputy premier and foreign minister's office affairs director ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah and a number of top foreign ministry officials. (end)
