Pakistan surprised over Indian reaction on F-16 sale by US

ISLAMABAD, Feb 14 (KUNA) -- Pakistan on Sunday has expressed surprise and disappointment at the Indian government's reaction regarding purchase of F-16s from the United States.
Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson, Mohammed Nafees Zakaria in a statement in federal capital Islamabad said that the Indian government's reaction surprised and disappointed Pakistan.
He said that the Indian army and arsenal stock is much larger and they are the largest importer of defense equipment. "As regards F-16 sale, Pakistan and the United States closely cooperate in countering terrorism.
US spokesperson clearly announced that the sale is to enhance precision strike capability," said the spokesperson.
