Bahrain's nat'l action charter substantiated cohesion between leader, citizens -- Amb.

MANAMA, Feb 13 (KUNA) -- Dean of the diplomatic corps, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah said on Saturday that the National Action Charter of Bahrain has substantiated cohesion and synergy between the leader and the citizen and a is a real interpretation of the national consensus.
Sheikh Azzam said in a statement marking the 15th anniversary of the vote on the National Action Charter of Bahrain, which falls on Sunday, that King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has set new foundations based on work and performance and modernization of the state's institutions to ensure the achievement of the aspirations of the people of Bahrain.
He said that the referendum on the charter, which has been approved by the Bahraini people by 98.4 percent, was highly praised locally and internationally.
