KUWAIT, Feb 12 (KUNA) -- Achieving development in Kuwait is a joint responsibility and needs concerted efforts from all bodies, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Sabeeh has stressed.
Al-Sabeeh said some bodies delayed reply to letters sent by the Supreme Council for Planning and Development (SCPD) on some recommendations and inquiries, the council said in a press statement on Friday, citing the minister.
This runs counter to the government's policy aiming to push ahead the wheel of production and carry out development projects, she said during a meeting with a number of undersecretaries.
Al-Sabeeh, also Minister of State for Development and Planning, urged all executive bodies to pay much attention to these recommendations and inquiries.
She reviewed some letters sent by the council's committees to the government departments for inquiries, saying some ministries don't interact quickly with these letters.
Meanwhile, SCPD Secretary General Dr. Khaled Mahdi said the Secretariat will follow up on letters between the council's committees and government bodies to make sure interaction of these bodies to secure responses.
This move will be carried out through the Internet to facilitate the follow-up process, he added. (end) fnk.tb.hm
