Egyptian Pres. highlights significance of cooperation with Saudi Arabia

CAIRO, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- Egyptian President Abdefattah Al-Sisi reaffirmed his country's keenness on closer ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all areas in the framework of the joint coordination council.
During his meeting with visiting Saudi minister of state Le'sam bin Sa'id, President Al-Sisi commended the regular operation of the joint council which meets alternately in Cairo and Riyadh, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
The President praised the close strategic partnership with the Kingdom and appreciated King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's supportive stances towards Egypt.
On his part, the Saudi Minister expressed the kingdom's desire to continue strengthening the relationship with Egypt on all levels and coordinate stances towards the regional and international issues.
He reaffirmed the importance of the projects being implemented by the joint council in the areas of housing, agriculture, education, investment and culture. (end) aff.mm.gb
