KUWAIT, Feb 10 (KUNA) -- Under the auspice of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the State Audit Bureau's (SAB) held here Wednesday a ceremony celebrating its 50th anniversary of establishment.
His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah attended the event on the behalf of His Highness the Amir.
His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince was received by Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim and Deputy Chairman of SAB Adel Al-Sar'awi.
The ceremony was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Ministers, and senior state officials.
During the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the State Audit Bureau delivered a speech welcoming His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince as well as the senior officials.
He expressed his deepest honor and pride in the bureau's strong history and celebration of its golden jubilee, revealing that His Highness the Amir was a founding member in establishing SAB back in 1954.
The bureau worked hard in developing its employee's skills to meet with the latest supervising standards and it received great support from legislative and executive authorities, said the official.
Al-Sar'awi expressed his thanks to His Highness the Amir and the state authorities in offering continuous support to SAB also reflected his gratitude to the bureau's employees. (end) ss
