3 airstrikes in Syria, 18 in Iraq target IS - Coalition

WASHINGTON, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- Coalition military forces continued to attack the so-called Islamic State (IS), targeting IS militants, units and vehicles in Iraq and Syria, the Combined Joint Task Force announced on Tuesday.
In Syria, the coalition's forces launched three airstrikes at IS tactical units and positions near Kobani, Manbij and Mar'a, it said in a statement.
In Iraq, the forces conducted 18 airstrikes, targeting IS positions, units and weapons caches near Al Baghdadi, Al Huwayjah, Fallujah, Mosul, Qayyarah, Ramadi, Sultan Abdallah and Tal Afar, it added. (end) rm.mt
