KUWAIT, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- Deputy Chairman of the National Guard Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah affirmed on Tuesday keenness on promoting personnel's skills and staying abreast of latest innovations in sciences and training, in line with the State Strategic Objectives Document (2020), themed "Security First." Sheikh Meshaal, during reception of a number of officers who graduated from the Qatari Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College, relayed congratulations of the Guard's senior command for their success in joining ranks of their fellow officers for serving and safeguarding the homeland.
The deputy chief urged the commissioned officers to do their best, arm themselves with knowledge and know-how, "for they are the real arms to safeguard the homeland security." He also noted necessity of discipline, maintaining physical fitness and shooting sharpness. (end) hmd.nfa.rk
