DUBAI, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Electricity and Water Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah on Tuesday stressed Kuwait's keenness on developing human resources.
On the sideline of the World Government Summit, Minister Al-Abdullah told KUNA that he participated in a closed session which reviewed several studies in the field of human resources development.
He also stressed Kuwait's keenness on benefiting from the successful international experiences in the field of human resource development.
Minister Al-Abdullah praised the UAE's experience in manpower field and the Gulf state's application of international programs and plans that have contributed to the development of the UAE's human resources.
On his part Undersecretary at the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Mohammed Al-Roumi said in similar statement to KUNA the session focused on the integration of the actual application of human resource development in the UAE and the experiences of relevant international institutions in this area.
The session also tackled the global paradigm shift in the application of modern technological systems to measure the performance of the workforce in the government and the move from paperwork to smart programs in this area, he said.
The World Government Summit held in Dubai is a primary global forum dedicated to shaping the future of governments worldwide.
