Kuwait weather to stabilize tonight -- forecaster

KUWAIT, Feb 7 (KUNA) -- Weather in Kuwait is forecast to start stabilizing with winds' shift to northwesterly effective Sunday night (tonight), according to Kuwait Meteorological Center.
The country witnessed today some clouds, coupled with scattered rain, due to low pressure's effects, moderate to active southeasterly winds (15-45 km/h). Temperature has ranged between 20 to 24 degrees, said the center acting director, Sami Al-Othman, in remarks to KUNA.
However, in the night early hours, the winds will turn northwesterly, light to moderate which may pick up in the coastal regions (12-40 km/h). The clouds will clear up gradually while the sea will witness medium-height waves.
The weather on Monday will be sunny, with moderate northwesterly winds (12-31 km/h). Temperature meanwhile is forecast at 19-22 degrees. At night, it will turn cold.
It will be also sunny on Tuesday and Wednesday however coldness will set in after nightfall. (end) mf.rk
