LONDON, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Saturday a cable of thanks to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the friendly United Kingdom and Northern Ireland in which His Highness expressed his deep appreciation and thanks for the luncheon hosted by the Queen in his honor on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom and his participation in presiding over the fourth conference for donors to help Syria and the region which was hosted by the United Kingdom.
His Highness praised the cordial meeting with the Queen and with His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, valuing highly the wisdom and prestige of Her Majesty at the international level, which lasted for more than six decades.
His Highness also appreciated this generous gesture which embodied the depth of historical and excellent relations combining the two kind families and those linking the State of Kuwait with the friendly United Kingdom, wishing Her Majesty and the kind royal family good health and happiness and all progress and prosperity to the United Kingdom and its friendly people.(end).
