MANAMA, Feb 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's leading humanitarian work around the world earned it unprecedented respect and appreciation, Secretary General of the Bahraini Royal Charity Organization Dr. Mustapha Al-Said said on Monday.
During a reception hosted by Dean of the Diplomatic corps, Kuwait Ambassador to Bahrain, Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, Al-Said added that Kuwait has been leading humanitarian work through public and private organizations.
Al-Said hailed as well His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's efforts in serving humanity which led to naming him by the United Nations as the Humanitarian Leader.
For his part, Ambassador Azzam echoed similar sentiments on the Kuwaiti efforts and service in the humanitarian and charity fields. (end) mga.mb
