Kuwaiti racer Al-Abdulrazzaq ranks 1st in Aquabike Championship in Dubai

KUWAIT, Jan 31 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti racer of the Speed Racing Watersports (KSR) Yousef Al-Abdulrazzaq ranked first on Saturday night in the Pro Class in the third round of World Aquabike Championship that was held in Dubai, UAE.
He expressed in remarks to KUNA today his happiness for this great achievement which reflected the bright image of Kuwait in a prominent sports event in the region, with the participation of group of the best racers from various parts of the world.
The youngest racer in the championship and KSR team Shaheen Ramadan achieved the fifth rank in the free performance class, he said.
He praised the efforts exerted by the technicians and administrators, headed by Sheikha Mashael Al-Duaij Al-Sabah who greatly contributed to the fulfillment of this accomplishment.
He also applauded the sponsorship of Zain to this championship.
This championship is organized by Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) and consists of six rounds. The first one took place in Dubai at the beginning of this month, while the final one will take place in Abu Dhabi next April. (end) ayra.aas.lb
