ROME, Jan 29 (KUNA) -- Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi were witness to the signing of several bilateral agreements within the energy, economic, education, cultural, and investment domains.
Before the signing of the agreements, a meeting between the two top officials was held mainly focusing on the recent situation in the Middle East and also touched on the international community's efforts to bring peace, security, and stability worldwide.
The Qatari Amir arrived in Rome yesterday, kicking off his European tour aimed at bolstering ties with countries in the region. (end) mn.gta
