ROME, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Italy Sheikh Ali Khaled Al-Jaber Al-Sabah praised the participation of "Rawd Al-Salaheen" school students in the Model United Nations (MUN) program for middle/high school students.
The ambassador met the students at the diplomatic mission headquarters in Rome.
Al-Khaled stressed the importance this participation to highlight the students' talents, familiarize them with diplomatic and international functions, and give them an opportunity to engage with international fellow-peers and to widen their world visions.
The meeting was attended by members of the embassy, the School Principal, teachers as well as the students.
MUN projects for high school students address three fundamental needs namely international education, empowerment of soft skills and orientation to university studies.
The program hosted over 2,400 delegates from over 118 countries, including Kuwaiti students. (end) mn.haq
