KNPC controls limited gas leak at Al-Ahmadi

KUWAIT, Jan 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has controlled a limited gas leak at the second line of the gas liquefaction plant in Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery, the KNPC said on Wednesday.
Teams of the Refinery hurriedly stopped the source of the leak after the second line was suspended as a precaution, said acting spokesman, and Deputy CEO for Finance and Administrative Affairs Ali Abdulla.
He stressed that they had brought the leak under full control within a short time.
There was no damage, Abdullah said, adding that work at the Refinery was not affected. Only a worker had a slight injury and received treatment at once. (end) osj.abd.msa
