GCC FMs to hold emergency meeting in light of attacks on Saudi embassy in Iran

RIYADH, Jan 5 (KUNA) -- GCC Foreign Ministers will hold an emergency meeting on Saturday to disucss the recent attacks on Saudi diplomatic missions in Iran, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani announced, on Tuesday.
In a press statement, Al-Zayani said that meeting will be held in Riyadh under the Chairmanship of Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir.
On Saturday, angry demonstrators in Tehran attacked the Saudi embassy, setting fire in the building and destroying furniture. (end) yms.nfm
