Kuwait Ports Authority to seek int'l aid to regulate ports

KUWAIT, Dec 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA) has primarily approved using the aid of international companies to resolve issues in the field, said Minister of Communications and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Essa Al-Kandari.
The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Social Affairs are coordinating with the General Administration of Customs to study and resolve the ships traffic jam in ports, Al-Kandari said during the National Assembly's ordinary session on Tuesday.
On his part, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Oil Anas Al-Saleh noted that the Audit Bureau requested implementing regulations on uninhabited lands and monitor the violations at these locations.
In the same context, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Ali Al-Omair said that the government has responded to 85 percent of parliamentary questions. He added that the government answered 2007 out of 2373 questions.(end) sss.rkf.ag
