Yemeni citizen killed by military shells from Yemen on Saudi Najran

JEDDAH, Nov 29 (KUNA) -- A Yemeni expatriate was killed by shells fired from the Yemeni side into Najran in southern Saudi Arabia Saturday night.
Civil defense men tackled at nine o'clock p.m. local time a report on the fall of shells from the Yemeni territories in Najran, killing a Yemeni man, media spokesman of Civil Defense in Najran Lt. Col. Ali Shahrani said.
Saudi Arabia, supported by Gulf nations, has been leading an Arab-coalition bombing Yemen's Houthis and allied army units loyal to ex-President Ali Abdullah Saleh since March 26 upon a request from legitimate President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in order to restore legitimacy in that Arab country.
Saudi Arabia's forces and the Houthis have been exchanging fire across the borders since the start of military operations of the Arab alliance in Yemen. There are several casualties from the two sides. (end) nh.hm
