Police officers injured in Colorado Springs shooting

WASHINGTON, Nov 28 (KUNA) -- Three police officers and an unknown number of civilians have suffered injuries near a Planned Parenthood health clinic in Colorado Springs, after several gunshots were heard in area just before noon local time Friday, local reports said.
The shooter has not yet been apprehended, police told local media, monitored in Washington D.C..
While no cause or motive is known, Planned Parenthood clinics are controversial among Conservatives for their focus on reproductive health, sexual education, and the performance of abortions. They have also been the target of protests since they were founded nearly 100 years ago. (end) ys.bs
